Additionally, the Rescue Vessel Stockport - See Notes below.
According to A. Hague, Bosworth returned - this is not noted in the Advance Sailing Telegram and I believe it's an error, unless she returned then crossed the ocean independently? (she's included in Convoy BB 118 from Belfast Lough on Jan. 1-1942 - external link). |
Notes: The Rescue Vessel Stockport was also with this convoy for a while. She was on her 1st voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde on Dec. 21-1941 with the westbound convoy ON 49, detached Dec. 28, then returned to Clyde with Convoy SC 60, Dec. 28-Dec. 31. ("Convoy Rescue Ships 1940-1945", Arnold Hague). The convoy arrived rendezvous on Dec. 27. A. Hague names the following escorts (extracted from this list of SC convoy escorts, received from D. Kindell; dates are European style, day/month/year): Related external link: To the next SC convoy in my list SC 61 |
