CONVOY SC 60
Departed Sydney, C.B. on Dec. 16-1941 and arrived Liverpool on the 31st.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 22 ships in this convoy.

Transcribed from original documents received from Tony Cooper (Advance Sailing Telegram) - His source: Public Records Office, Kew.
The station numbers, cargoes for the tankers and names of escorts have been extracted from documents recived from Don Kindell, based on the late Arnold Hague's database - see his listing for SC 60 at
ships in all SC convoys.

See also Convoy ON 35, and other ON convoys from the same time period.

Crossed out ships did not sail.

Additionally, the Rescue Vessel Stockport - See Notes below.

According to A. Hague, Bosworth returned - this is not noted in the Advance Sailing Telegram and I believe it's an error, unless she returned then crossed the ocean independently? (she's included in Convoy BB 118 from Belfast Lough on Jan. 1-1942 - external link).

Notes:
Commodore was in Errington Court.

The Rescue Vessel Stockport was also with this convoy for a while. She was on her 1st voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde on Dec. 21-1941 with the westbound convoy ON 49, detached Dec. 28, then returned to Clyde with Convoy SC 60, Dec. 28-Dec. 31. ("Convoy Rescue Ships 1940-1945", Arnold Hague).

The convoy arrived rendezvous on Dec. 27.

A. Hague names the following escorts (extracted from this list of SC convoy escorts, received from D. Kindell; dates are European style, day/month/year):
Alisma - From 28/12/41 to 31/12/41
Caldwell - From 27/12/41 to 31/12/41
Camrose - From 18/12/41 to 27/12/41
Dauphin - From 18/12/41 to 24/12/41
Kamsack - From 16/12/41 to 18/12/41
