Notes: According to A. Hague, Lagarfoss detached on Nov. 22 in 59 31N 21 51W. In addition to general cargo she also had 2 bags of mail. * Chelatros had run aground on Nov. 3-1941, at Brion Is., Magdalen Islands, Gulf of St. Lawrence - total loss. ** There's a note in connection with Meridian and Petrovski saying "Sailed in SC 53, advise of return not yet received". Meridian was sunk (see Notes for Convoy SC 53). Petrovski later joined Convoy PQ 5 to Murmansk, which left Hvalfjord, Iceland on Nov. 27-1941 - ref. external link below. The convoy arrived rendezvous on Nov. 21. A. Hague names the following escorts (extracted from this list of SC convoy escorts, received from D.
