* This ship is initially listed as British Tenacity, but the "British" is crossed out and replaced by "Belgian", and the nationality is given as American. The tonnage is given as 8439 gt, which fits with British Tenacity - however, this was a tanker.

The following LST's are listed on the same document as the Boston ships, but I suspect they may belong to the New York portion(?)

LST 527

LST 528

Notes:
Commodore, Captain R. G. Clayton, R.N.R. was in Laurits Swenson.

Commodore's notes are not available - escorts not known.

The Rescue Vessel Syrian Prince was on her 3rd voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde on March 31-1944 with the westbound Convoy ON 230, to Halifax Apr. 14, then returned to Clyde with Convoy HX 288, Apr. 20-May 4.

All the Norwegian ships in this convoy are discussed on this website - use alphabet index below to find them.

Liberty Ships - The vast majority of the ships listed as American in the table above were Liberty ships. This website lists them alphabetically. (The Advance Sailing Telegrams do not always spell the names correctly, and I always check the spelling of each and every Liberty Ship against what is found on this site before I upload a convoy). As will be seen, some of them are "old timers", having been around since 1942 or '43, while others had just been delivered in March or Apr.-1944.
