CONVOY RU 120
Departure and arrival dates are not provided, but it would probably have been some time after the middle of May-1944
(the previous convoy, RU 119, had left on May 13, and the next convoy, RU 121, left on the 28th).
Received from Tony Cooper, England - His source: Public Records Office, Kew. |

Notes for info: Katla and Yemassee had previously arrived with Convoy HX 288. They both appear to have gone back to the U.S., because Katla is listed as returning with Convoy HX 297 towards the end of June-1944, while Yemassee is listed in the earlier HX 296; destination is given as Iceland for both of them. The Norwegian Mui Hock is listed in Convoy SC 157 from Halifax in Apr.-1944. No further details are available on RU 120. Back to Arctic Convoys page To the next RU convoy in my list RU 121 |
