* I'm unsure of the identity of this ship - there was a Liberty Ship Robert Henri, launched in Febr.-1944, but this ship is said to have been delivered in June-1944, and if that is correct, she could not have been in this convoy. See this external link, as well as this page.

Additionally, the Rescue Vessel Perth - see Notes below (not mentioned in Advance Sailing Telegram)

Notes:
Commodore, Captain H. C. C. Forsyth, R.N.R. was in Port Huon.

The Rescue Vessel Perth was on her 24th voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde on March 8-1944 with the westbound Convoy ON 227, to Halifax March 20, then returned to Clyde with Convoy HX 286, Apr. 7-Apr. 20-1944.

Commodore's notes are not available - escorts not known.

All the Norwegian ships in this convoy are discussed on this website - use alphabet index below to find them.

Liberty Ships - The vast majority of the ships listed as American in the table above were Liberty ships. This website lists them alphabetically. (The Advance Sailing Telegrams do not always spell the names correctly, and I always check the spelling of each and every Liberty Ship against what is found on this site before I upload a convoy). As will be seen, a few of them had just been delivered the previous month.
List of Liberty Ships by Hull No. - Includes info on the men and women for whom the ships were named (from Wikipedia).
