CONVOY HX 294
Departed New York on June 2-1944 and arrived Liverpool on the 19th.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 113 ships in this convoy.

Commodore, Vice Admiral Sir M. L. Goldsmith was in Abraham Lincoln (see note in table above), Vice Commodore was Captain B. W. L. Nicholson, R.N. in Geisha.

The Rescue Vessel Perth was on her 25th voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde on May 11-1944 with the westbound Convoy ON 236, to Halifax May 25, then returned to Clyde with Convoy HX 294, June 4-June 18. Her 24th eastbound voyage had been with HX 286. ("Convoy Rescue Ships 1940-1945", Arnold Hague).

Commodore's notes are not available - escorts not known.
