CONVOYS RU 126 & RU 126A
RU 126 departed Reykjavik on July 7-1944, arrived Loch Ewe on the 11th
(the month is given as June in the document, but I believe it should be July, since the previous convoy, RU 125, had left on June 28).
Departure date for RU 126A is given as July 10 with arrival Loch Ewe on the 14th.
Received from Tony Cooper, England - His source: Public Records Office, Kew. |

Notes: Jacob Thompson had arrived with HX 295. She was scheduled to come back at the beginning of Aug.-1944 with Convoy HX 302, but is said to have returned to port (she does not show up again on this site until Convoy HX 320 in Nov.-1944). No further details are available on RU 126 and RU 126A. Back to Arctic Convoys page To the next RU convoy in my list RU 127 |
