Notes: Western Chief, on a voyage from New York for Newport with 7400 tons of steel, became a straggler and was sunk on March 14 by the Italian Submarine Emo. She had a crew of 42 and 1 gunner - 22 crew perished. The convoy arrived rendezvous on March 15.
