CONVOY SC 166
Departed Halifax on Jan. 31-1945 and arrived Liverpool on Febr. 13.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 26 ships in this convoy.

(Note that between Convoy SC 165 and SC 166 the following eastbound convoys had sailed:
HX 333, CU 55, HX 334, CU 56, and HX 335).

Commodore was in Empire Balfour.

The Rescue Vessel Rathlin was on her 22nd voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde on Jan. 8-1945 with the westbound Convoy ON 277 - to Halifax Jan. 21, then returned to Clyde with Convoy SC 166, Jan. 31-Febr. 13. Her previous voyage had been with Convoy JW 62 / RA 62. ("Convoy Rescue Ships 1940-1945", Arnold Hague).
