CONVOY SC 5
Departed Sydney, C.B. on Sept. 18-1940 (according to Advance Sailing Telegram) and arrived Liverpool on Oct. 3
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 43 ships in this convoy, w/departure date Sept. 19.

The station numbers and names of escorts have been extracted from documents recived from Don Kindell, based on Arnold Hague's database - see
ships in all SC convoys.

Crossed out ships did not sail.

The nationality for Orania is given as Swedish, but tonnage is given as 1182 gt, which was the Norwegian ship by this name (besides, the Swedish Orania had already been sunk - see this external page).
