According to A. Hague, Delphin became a straggler, while Rinos became a romper - dates are not given. Again, scroll down to SC 6 in the section listing ships in all SC convoys.

Notes:
Commodore was in Harmala, Vice Commodore in Carperby.

Ships sunk:
Delphin, on a voyage from Montreal for Cork with maize and wheat, was torpedoed by U-103 on Oct. 9. Delphin sank the next day. There were no casualties.

Zannes Gounaris, on a voyage from Tampa, Fl. for Garston with phosphates, was also sunk by U-103 on Oct. 9. 1 died.

Graigwen, on a voyage from Montreal for Barry Roads with 6160 tons of maize, was damaged by U-103 on Oct. 9, sunk by U-123 the next day. She had a crew of 33 and 1 gunner - 7 crew died.

Arnold Hague says that the Estonian Nora, which has been crossed out on the Advance Sailing Telegram for Convoy SC 6, did join this convoy, but became a straggler and was sunk. See SC 6 at ships in all SC convoys, which is based on A. Hague's database. Date of her sinking is given as Oct. 13-1940 at Uboat.net (external link), U-103 - as can be seen, no convoy is mentioned. Note that this sinking date is a day after Convoy SC 6 had arrived Liverpool. Nora is mentioned under Oct. 18 in HMS Leith's report for Convoy SC 7, which says: "13:05 - Sighted two rafts ahead, searched in vicinity with Bluebell then picked up Master and crew (18) of Nora (Estonian) torpedoed on 13th October about 50' (30'?) west of Rockall. (I have a note in my copy of Rohwer's book that she may originally have belonged to Convoy HX 77, which left Halifax on Sept. 30-1940, but unfortunately, I can no longer remember why I made that note. A. Hague has not included her in this convoy - see ships in all HX convoys).

The convoy arrived rendezvous on Oct. 9.

Escorts (extracted from this list of SC convoy escorts, based on Arnold Hague's database, received from D. Kindell; dates are European style, day/month/year):
Enchantress - From 27/09/40 to 12/10/40
Hastings - From 09/10/40 to 14/10/40
