CONVOY HX 338
Departed New York City on Febr. 12-1945 and arrived Liverpool on the 27th.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 70 ships in this convoy.

Transcribed from several documents received from Tony Cooper - His source: Public Records Office, Kew.
Details re. Arctic convoys were found in "Convoys to Russia 1941-1945" by Bob Ruegg and Arnold Hague.

Crossed out ships did not sail, underlined returned.
A 1 form is not available to me and, therefore, I don't know the station numbers for these ships.

* Ezra Meech (delivered Jan. 27-1945) is listed in the Advance Sailing Telegram for the next convoy. There was also a Liberty Ship named Ezra Meeker, which is how this name is spelt in the AST for HX 338, but I don't know whether there's a mix up of names here.

Liberty Ships - This website has been used to check the spelling of all the Liberty ships listed in this convoy (convoy docs don't always have the correct spelling, or they may be difficult to decipher). As will be seen, a few of them had just been delivered in Jan.-1945. The 2 websites below have been used for the same purpose.

The Empire Ships website also lists "Sam"-ships and other Liberty ships.
