Notes for Bermuda Convoy:
"Important: Each ship's W/T cabin is to be sealed by captain before leaving port. Seal may not be broken except in fog or emergencies or on orders from Commodore. After fog or emergency has passed, W/T Apparatus is again to be sealed. If seal is broken as above, full report is to be given to N.C.S.O. at port of arrival why it was opened and for how long.
Private W/T Sets: One set (only) may be allowed at captain's discretion.

Sailing Day: At 08:45 Hopetarn will sound one 15 second blast which is the executive for the convoy to sail. Ships will proceed in the following order, keeping well closed up:

1 - Hopetarn
2 - Eclipse
3 - Auris
4 - Inverlee
5 - Cymbula
6 - Prins Willem II
7 - Maja
8 - Beduin
9 - Standella
10 - Caspia
11 - Stuart Prince
12 - Tudor Prince
13 - Tornus
14 - Geisha
15 - Rydboholm
16 - Kaia Knudsen
17 - Forresbank

Bermuda escort, HMS Montclare, was placed 3 cables ahead of and between columns 4 and 5 except in strong winds when station was taken on windward beam of convoy, owing to Montclare's bad steering at slow speeds.

7.9 knots was speed made good: speed by revolutions 8.5 to 9 knots.

––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

Commodore (combined convoy) was in Sicilian Prince, Vice Commodore in Innerton.

The convoy arrived local escort rendezvous on Jan. 13-1941.
