She was on her 2nd voyage as such, having started this voyage at Clyde on Apr. 11 with the westbound Convoy ON 85 (to Halifax Apr. 22), then returned with SC 82 from Halifax Apr. 30 to Clyde May 16-1942. |

* Note that these 4 ships are not included in the Advance Sailing Telegram (nor are they included in A. Hague's listing - again, see SC 82 at ships in all SC convoys), which would indicate they were not part of the convoy. According to A. Hague, Connector and Imperoyal had arrived Halifax on Apr. 17 in Convoy CL 22 (external link), but they must have left port on Apr. 30 for other reasons than to join SC 82. PLM 17 is listed in the AST for the next convoy, SC 83. |
Notes: Commodore was in Baltrover, Vice Commodore in Lord Byron. Liverpool Commodore: In Roxby Belfast Commodore: In Port Adelaide. The ships left port in the following order (according to the diary): The convoy arrived Clyde on May 16. A. Hague names the following escorts (extracted from this list of SC convoy escorts, received from D. Kindell; dates are European style, day/month/year): To the next SC convoy in my list SC 83 |
