CONVOY SC 32
Departed Halifax on May 19-1941 and arrived Liverpool on June 7.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 28 ships in this convoy.

Transcribed from original documents received from Tony Cooper - His source: Public Records Office, Kew.
The station numbers and names of escorts have been extracted from documents recived from Don Kindell, based on Arnold Hague's database - see
ships in all SC convoys.

Crossed out ships did not sail, underlined returned to port (except those that are linked, which will automatically be underlined. The Norwegian Marita, however, did return to port).

Additionally, according to the Commodore's notes for Convoy HX 128, La Paz (British) and the Norwegian Inger Lise, initially sailing in that convoy, were sent to join Convoy SC 32 on May 28 (follow link to HX 128).
The HX 128 Commodore adds that this convoy with SC 32 and HMS Revenge formed one convoy of 72 ships from May 28 for 3 days.

Notes:
The Rescue Vessel Zamalek was also with this convoy for a while. She was on her 6th voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde on May 30-1941 with Convoy OB 328 until dispersed June 2, then joined SC 32 that same day to return to Clyde, June 7. ("Convoy Rescue Ships", Arnold Hague).

The Norwegian Marita is said to have picked up survivors from Empire Storm from Convoy HX 128, which was sunk by U 557 on May 29. This would be the reason why she returned to port - follow the link to my page about this ship.

* Note that Empire Ptarmigan is listed in some previous convoys on this website as American Abercos. (See also Norelg).

A. Hague names the following escorts (extracted from this list of SC convoy escorts, based on Arnold Hague's database, received from D. Kindell; dates are European style, day/month/year):
