Departed Halifax on Jan. 1-1945 and arrived Liverpool on the 18th.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 42 ships in this convoy.
(Note that between Convoy SC 163 and SC 164 the following eastbound convoys had sailed:
CU 51, HX 327, HX 328, CU 52, and HX 329).
