CONVOY SC 163
Departed Halifax on Dec. 17-1944 and arrived Liverpool on the 31st.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 48 ships in this convoy.

(Note that between Convoy SC 162 and SC 163 the following eastbound convoys had sailed:
HX 324, HX 325, CU 50, and HX 326).

Transcribed from several documents received from Tony Cooper - His source: Public Records Office, Kew.

Crossed out ships did not sail, underlined returned to port.

The following ships are listed in the same document as the above ships, but the Advance Sailing Telegram number is the same as that given for the St. John's section rather than the Halifax section, so I'm not entirely sure whether these joined from Halifax or St. John's.
