| The Rescue Vessel Zamalek (requisitioned in March-1940) was also in this convoy. She was on her 23 voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde with the westbound Convoy ON 223 on Febr. 7-1944 (to Halifax Febr. 22), was intended to go back with Convoy HX 281 (Febr. 29), but due to bad weather she was forced to return to port on March 6. She subsequently returned to the UK with SC 155 ("Convoy Rescue Ships", Arnold Hague). | ||||
