Form received from Ted Agar - His source: Halifax diary.
As can be seen, the Norwegian Evanger is not included here and, therefore, her station number is not known. Instead, the Norwegian Vanja is listed (not mentioned in the Advance Sailing Telegram). However, this ship is listed as having sailed in the previous convoy, SC 151, returning with the westbound ON 224, which left the U.K. for the U.S. on Febr. 15-1944. As Halifax ships only are listed in this form, station number for Sebastian Viscaino, joining from St. John's, is not known. |
