CONVOY SC 161
Departed Halifax on Nov. 17-1944 and arrived Liverpool on Dec. 4.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 49 ships in this convoy.

(Note that between Convoy SC 160 and SC 161 the following eastbound convoys had sailed:
HX 318, CU 46, HX 319, HX 320 and CU 47).

The Rescue Vessel Perth was on her 27th voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde on Sept. 13-1944 with the westbound Convoy ON 253, to Halifax Sept. 26, then returned to Clyde with Convoy SC 161, Nov. 17-Dec. 4-1944. Her previous eastbound voyage had been with Convoy HX 304. ("Convoy Rescue Ships 1940-1945", Arnold Hague).
