CONVOY HX 318
Departed New York City on Nov. 4-1944 and arrived Liverpool on Nov. 19.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 36 ships in this convoy.

Transcribed from several documents received from Roger Griffiths - His source: Public Records Office, Kew.

The ships are listed in the order in which they appear on the various documents.
A 1 form is not available to me and, therefore, I don't know the station numbers of these ships.

Info re. Russian convoys has been added with the help of "Convoys to Russia", Arnold Hague and Bob Ruegg.

For info, some of the ships in this convoy can also be found in the westbound Convoy ON 270 on Dec. 3.

Notes:
Additionally, the Rescue Vessel Fastnet was with this convoy. She was on her 8th voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde with the westbound Convoy ONS 34 on Oct. 14-1944, to Halifax Nov. 2 - returning with HX 318 from Halifax on Nov. 6, to Clyde Nov. 20. Her 9th voyage was with Convoy ON 270 and HX 328. ("Convoy Rescue Ships", Arnold Hague).

Commodore, A. Cocks, R.N.R. was in Port Darwin. Commodore's notes are not available.

The convoy arrived Mersey on Nov. 19.
