* Bob Ruegg/Arnold Hague state there's a possibility this is an error - see Notes for Copeland on my page about Convoy RA 57. However, she is included in the Advance Sailing Telegram for RA 58. Also, according to "Convoy Rescue Ships 1940-1945" by Arnold Hague she was on her 28th voyage as Rescue Vessel, having started this voyage from Clyde on Febr. 18-1944, to Loch Ewe Febr. 19, joined Convoy JW 57 (available at the first external link provided below) on Febr. 20, to Kola Inlet Febr. 28 - then returned to Clyde with Convoy RA 58, Apr. 7-Apr. 15, carrying 86 passengers.

The Rescue Vessel Rathlin was on her 18th voyage as such, having started this voyage from Loch Ewe on March 27-1944 with Convoy JW 58, returning to Clyde with Convoy RA 58 Apr. 7-Apr. 15.

U-boats attempted to intercept the convoy, but failed to make contact.

Escorts:
Apr. 7-Apr. 12: Destroyers Beagle, Boadicea, Inconstant, Keppel, Venus, Walker, Westcott, Whitehall, Wrestler, escort Carrier Activity.
