Notes: The Rescue Vessel Zaafaran was on her 8th voyage as such. She started this voyage from Clyde on Aug. 20-1941, detached from ON 9 when dispersed on Aug. 25, then returned to Clyde with Convoy HX 145, Aug. 25-Aug. 30. ("Convoy Rescue Ships 1940-1945", Arnold Hauge). The Norwegian Inger had been ordered to return to Loch Ewe on Aug. 23-1941; sunk by U-143 that same evening - more information (incl. crew list) is available on my page about Inger.
