* Imperial Transport became a straggler on Sept. 6.
** Margarita Chandris became a straggler on Sept. 5.
*** Tureby joined from Iceland, probably taking the station of British Colony when she parted company for Reykjavik. (Tureby later became a straggler).

* British Power, British Colony, Saint Bertrand and President Francqui had returned to port when in the earlier Convoy ON 9.
** A. Hague says San Cipriano (7955 gt) was Mexian, but as far as I can see she remained British through the war.

For info, the Dutch Tuva later joined ON 19A from Reykjavik at the end of Sept., in order to proceed to Tampa (sunk).

Also in this convoy were:
British California - As AMC escort.
British Maloja - As AMC escort.

Escorts (also received from Don Kindell, whose own work, covering "Royal & other Navies Day-by-Day in World War 2" can be viewed at this website):
Sept. 1-Sept. 4: Arabis, Malcolm, Monkshood, Northern Gem, Northern Pride, Northern Spray, Northern Wave, Petunia, Sardonyx, Watchman, Wisteria.
Sept. 4-Sept. 11: Burwell, California, Chilliwack, Maloja, Spikenard, Trail.

All the Norwegian ships in this convoy are included on this website. More information on them can be found via the alphabet index below, or via the Master Ship Index
