The cancelled Empire Waterhen, Carslogie and Llangollen are listed in Convoy ON 124 Aug. 22. * There's a ship listed as Van de Velde in Convoy SC 92 (6389 gt) - same ship? ** The ship in station 34 is listed as Ingman on this form, but as Ingham on the 2nd form. For info, Lifland and Parismina later joined Convoy SC 101 to return to the U.K. (Lifland was sunk). |

Notes: Commodore Captain S. H.(?) White R.N.R. was in Athelprince. Vice Commodore vessel was intended to be Llangollen, but this ship is crossed out on the convoy form (listed in ON 124, as mentioned). Rear Commodore was in Silverelm. Columns were to be 3 cables apart during the day and 5 cables apart during the night, with the ships in each coulumn to be 2 cables apart. Empire Breeze was torpedoed by U-176 and U-438 on Aug. 25 with the loss of 1 man, 48 survived. Stockport (requisitioned July 8-1941) was on her 6th voyage as rescue vessel. She joined from Clyde on Aug. 16-1942 and arrived Halifax on Sept. 1, then returned to the U.K. with Convoy SC 99 from Halifax on Sept. 5 - to Clyde Sept. 20. All the Norwegian ships in this convoy are included on this website - see alphabet index below.
