CONVOY HX 97
(Will be updated - please compare with A. Hague's listing for this convoy at ships in all HX convoys. See also HX escorts).
Departed Halifax on Dec. 18-1940 and arrived Liverpool on Jan. 3-1941.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 24 ships in this convoy.
Transcribed from several documents received from Roger Griffiths - His source: Public Records Office, Kew. Further details on losses have been added with the help of: Some ships joined from Bermuda (sailed on Dec. 16-1940), but I'm not sure which ships they were. The ships are listed in the order in which they appear on the various documents. |
