For info, Pleiades had recently arrived with Convoy HX 281 from New York. She shows up again the following month (with destination Iceland) in Convoy HX 291.

Eloy Alfaro had also been in HX 281, but returned to port. She was then scheduled for Convoy SC 155, but instead joined the Halifax portion of HX 283. See also the notes for Convoy JW 58
