CONVOY HX 215
Departed New York City on Nov. 11-1942, and arrived Liverpool on the 25th.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 42 ships in this convoy.

Transcribed from several documents received from Roger Griffiths - His source: Public Records Office, Kew.

The ships are listed in the order in which they appear on the various documents (crossed out ships did not sail).
A 1 form not available to me and, therefore, I do not know the convoy stations of these ships.

For info, some of the ships in this convoy later returned to the U.S. with the westbound Convoy ON 153, some are listed in ON 155.

Notes:
Commodore Admiral H.J.S. Brownrigg was in Pandorian.

Delnorte and Tristram Dalton - very slack in answering flag and flashing signals.
Fort Simpson - unreliable compass
Taria - bad station keeping
Empire Chapman - indifferent station keeping, lost touch in moderate visibility and crossed front of convoy at a steep angle. A dangerous ship. Explanation called for and reply was "Drawn across by mist".
Vestfold - Detached as Commodore of Clyde portion - although a fast ship far astern of station and ? ships he was leading. Bad lookout for signals.
Comedian, Argolikos, Tortuguero - made excessive smoke.
