West Wauna, cargo of steel for Liverpool, also appears to have been scheduled for this convoy, but is crossed out from station 72 (not listed in the Advance Sailing Telegram). West Wauna sailed in HX 120. |
Notes: The convoy had 33 ships - 32 still remained at rendezvous with local escort on Apr. 14, Lulworth Hill having dropped astern on Apr. 7 and was not seen again. Narragansett experienced engine trouble at 18:30 on Apr. 7, 42 22N 54 45W. Signalled stopped indefinitely. Rejoined at 13:30 on Apr. 12, 57 05N 31 03W. Teakwood was detached for Reykjavik at 18:10 on Apr. 13, 61 48N 26 21W. Escorted by HMS Tulip and Hydrangea. Commodore's comments on station keeping: Comments on signalling: Escort Vessels:
