A document found at the Public Records Office, Kew, listing all U.K.-Norway Convoys, states that Convoy ON 12 had a total of 27 ships; 10 British, 8 Norwegian, 2 Swedish, 2 Danish, 4 Finnish, and 1 Panamanian. 4 were not for Norway and detached en route, 1 of them being the Norwegian Fernmoor, according to the external site mentioned in connection with the escorts below.

Reports on the convoy's passage are not available to me.

All the Norwegian ships mentioned here are listed on this website - see the Master Ships Index.

Escorts:
See this document, listing escorts for all HN and ON convoys, as well as this external site (scroll down to Febr. 13), which adds that when the convoy left Methil it was escorted by destroyers Inglefield, Ilex, Imperial, and Delight, as well as the submarine Thistle, and that the light cruisers Arethusa and Penelope were originally designated to provide close cover for ON 12, but both had been assigned to Operation DT (the "Altmark affair"). Light cruiser Edinburgh was then assigned to the duty and sailed from Rosyth to provide close cover. The destroyer Imogen took the Norwegian Fernmoor from Convoy ON 12 to Scapa Flow, with arrival on the 14th. Imogen left Scapa Flow again the next day and joined anti-aircraft cruiser Calcutta which left Sullom Voe that same day to provide anti-aircraft support for the convoy.
