Additionally, the following 4 ships are listed on the A 1 form but are not mentioned in the Advance Sailing Telegram: Quebec City (Br), sailing in station 42 (cargo of grain and trucks). The above ship is also mentioned in HMS Laconia's report, which says she joined from Sydney C.B. on Nov. 23. Corbis (Br), fuel oil for Clyde in station 74. Ulysses (Dutch) in station 93 with general cargo for Milford Haven (lost touch - see Page 2). Stirlingshire (Br), in station 95, general cargo for Liverpool (sunk - see Page 2). |
* The tonnage given for Pacific in the Advance Telegram for this convoy as well as for the next convoy, HX 91 is 4978, which does not match up with the tonnage given for the Swedish Pacific in Roger W. Jordan's "The World's Merchant Fleets" (3730 gt). Other countries also had ships by this name but none of 4978 gt. Escorts are named within the Commodore's report and HMS Laconia's report.
