* The lines are very faint, but it looks like this ship has been crossed out on the A 1 form. The name also appears in the next HX convoy from Halifax, HX 35, so she probably did not sail in this one.
Arnold Hague has also included Empire Conveyor in this convoy, with a note saying "possibly this convoy, dates coincide". See his listing for HX 34 on the page naming ships in all HX convoys. |
Notes: Commodore was in Manchester Spinner, Vice Commodore in Merchant Prince. According to Arnold Hague, the following ships became stragglers: Scottish American was torpedoed and damaged by U-13 on Apr. 28-1940; see external link below. A.
