CONVOY HX 26

Convoy HX 26 Cruising Order
Departed Halifax on March 9-1940 and arrived Liverpool on the 26th (Arnold Hague says 39 ships).
Transcribed from original documents received from Roger Griffiths (his source: Public Records Office, Kew).

Nationalities have been added with the help of "The World's Merchant Fleets 1939". R. W. Jordan.

Commodore was in Nova Scotia, Vice Commodore was in Port Fairy.

* Rossington Court sank following a collision with Athelviking on March 13, about 600 miles east of Halifax (The World's Merchant Fleets 1939"). Athelviking returned to port - does not show up again until HX 38, Apr. 26.
