Built by Wood, Skinner & Co., Bill Quay, River Tyne (136) as Cygnus for A/S D/S Cygnus (C. Blumer Hofgaard), Christiania in 1906. Became Hilda Lea for E. Grant Lea, Bergen in 1915, Havdrot for Helmer Staubo, Christiania that same year. Requisitioned by UK from Apr.-1918 until Jan.-1919. In 1929 she belonged to A/S China Coasting (Th. Nilsen-Moe), Oslo, still as Havdrot, and in 1932 to A/S China Coasting (Oswald Aamodt), Oslo. In 1938 owner was Skibs-A/S Havdrot (Oswald Aamodt), Oslo. Renamed Hai Dah for Wallem & Co.  WW II: 

According to "Nortraships flåte" this ship was on the list of ships interned by Admiral Tereaux in Saigon in the fall of 1940 (under order from Vichy), but following British pressure from Singapore she was freed and allowed to leave Saigon, after having taken on a cargo there.

 POST WAR: 

Broken up in Bombay in July-1947.
