CONVOY UR 26

Convoy UR 26 Cruising Order
Left Aultbea on May 28-1942, arrival date not given.
Received from Tony Cooper, England - His source: Public Records Office, Kew.

For info, many of these had previously arrived from Halifax with Convoy SC 83. See also RU convoys from the same time period (for instance, RU 27 and onwards).

Note also that several of these ships later joined Convoy PQ 17 to Russia on June 27, they have been denoted *. Many of them were sunk, but those that were not returned with Convoy QP 14 in Sept.-1942. Wacosta later joined Convoy PQ 18 (the external link at the bottom of this page has more info on these convoys).
