The Rescue Vessel Zamalek (requisitioned in March-1940) was also with this convoy. She was on her 22nd voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde with the westbound Convoy ONS 24 on Nov. 30-1943 (to Halifax Dec. 17), returning from Halifax with Convoy SC 150 on Dec. 30 to Clyde Jan. 14-1944. ("Convoy Rescue Ships", Arnold Hague).
