Notes:
Several of the ships in this convoy returned to the U.K. with Convoy HX 233 on Apr. 6, others with HX 234 on Apr. 12, while some are listed in HX 235, Apr. 18.

Commodore was in Port Adelaide.
Vice Commodore was in Canara.
Rear Commodore in Corner Brook.
Escort Oiler: Norvinn
Standby oiler: British Valour.

On March 5/6, 2 ships (un-named) had to return to port due to technical problems.
On March 8 Empire Puma stayed behind (not included in above table).
On March 9 Steel Traveler lost her top masts in the bad weather which was encountered after March 7, and Karamea's deck cargo of aircraft crates were smashed.

The bad weather also caused difficulties in replenishing the escorts, so that the escorting destroyer HMS Whitehall was forced to proceed on her own to St. John's on March 11.

Ocean Escort (Group B 2) - joined March 4:
Sloop HMS Whimbrel, destroyers HMS Vanessa and HMS Whitehall, corvettes HMS Gentian, HMS Heather and HMS Sweetbriar. (HMS Hesperus, which was normally the leader of the B 2 escort group was in the yard. The corvette Clematis, also belonging to the group, did not join).
