Convoy OG 79 Cruising Order
Departed Liverpool on Jan. 26-1942 and arrived Gibraltar Febr 7.
This information was taken from Arnold Hague's book "The Allied Convoy System", w/permission.

Crossed out ships did not sail.

Empire Foam, Tadorna (Vice Commodore ship, bound for Seville), Baron Ramsey, Ardeola, Empire Darwin, Empire Snipe (explosives), Lago (carried passengers).

From Clyde: Shuna, Wallsend, Innesmoor, Empire Impala.

From Milford: Tintern Abbey, Blairesk, Cara, Polo, Lynghaug, Ottinge, Shetland, Adjutant.

From Oban: Blairatholl (Rear Commodore ship, for Gibraltar), Glaisdale, British Coast (explosives), Cisneros, City of Oxford, Holmbury.
