Convoy OB 286 Cruising Order
Departed Liverpool on Febr. 13-1941, dispersed on the 17th (Arnold Hague says 29 ships).
List received from Tony Cooper (his source: Public Records Office, Kew).

The ships denoted (L) originated in Liverpool, others sailed from Aultbea, Oban, Glasgow or Belfast as noted.

Notes:
Commodore R. P. Galer R.N.R was in Athelregent (for Halifax), intended Vice Commodore was the captain of Gracia (for St. John's, but did not sail), and Rear Commodore the captain of Liberian (for Bathurst).

Aelybryn returned to Belfast with engine defect on Febr. 14.

Note that quite a few of the ships that are crossed out from this convoy form sailed in the next convoy, OB 287 - link below, while a couple can be found in OB 288.

Commodore's notes are not available.
