CONVOY OA 100G
G=Gibraltar
Joined up with OB 100G to form Convoy OG 20

Convoy OA 100G Cruising Order
Departed Southend on Febr. 28-1940, formed OG 20 on March 1 (together with OB 100G from Liverpool), arriving Gibraltar on March 7 with 32 ships
(Arnold Hague says the OA section had 19 ships).
List received from Tony Cooper (his source: Public Records Office, Kew).

For some information on the OA convoys, please go to OA 92.

Please note: The document from which I've worked to assemble this information, appears to have included some ships from the OB portion as well. Mike Holdoway, who is currently working on the OB series, and who's in possession of the A 1 forms for both convoys, has told me which ones they were, and I've marked them accordingly. Also, on my document several ships are crossed out, but it looks like this does not necessarily mean they did not sail; again, I'm basing my assumption on Mike's information. Those that were crossed out on my document, but which appear to have sailed, have been denoted * in my table below. Some of the ships had different stations in the final formation for OG 20.

In addition to the Ships marked as being in the OB section below, Mike also has the following:
City of Lancaster for Barry only
Kioto for London
Kirkland for Cardiff.
The scheduled Harbury and Montrolite did not sail.

The underlined ships parted company as follows:
Clan Ogilvy left on March 1 to repair damage caused by a gale, while Barbara Marie, Ingola and Chelsea left in bad weather during the night of March 2.
