CONVOY MKF 24

The document from which I've transcribed this information gives departure date (from Gibraltar?) as Sept. 28-1943, arrival Clyde Oct. 7.

Arnold Hague gives departure Port Said Sept. 17-1943, arrival Clyde Oct. 7 (12 ships).
There was also a
Convoy MKF 24A, leaving Gibraltar on Oct. 12, arriving Loch Ewe on the 18th (2 ships).

Athlone Castle, Empress of Australia and Monarch(?) are breaking off for U.S.A.
Bergensfjord and Volendam for West Africa.
HMS Carthage at present A.M.C. is also returning to be handed over to Sea Transport.
