Notes: The British Counsellor struck a mine on March 8-1940 - 53 38N 03 23W. Mine laid by U 32 on March 7, according to "The World's Merchant Fleetw 1939", R.W. Jordan, but there may be some new findings on this; Uboat.net says the mine had been laid by U-30 on Jan. 6 - see external link below. A.
