CONVOY HG 9
Departed Port Said on Nov. 19-1939 and arrived Liverpool on Dec. 8.
(The Advance Sailing Telegram gives sailing date as Nov. 30-1939, possibly from Gibraltar)
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 52 ships in this convoy.

Received from Tony Cooper - His source: Public Records Office, Kew.

Commodore's notes and A 1 form are not available to me and, therefore, station numbers and escorts are not known.

All these ships were British. The ships denoted * were with the convoy from Port Said, Nov. 19.
