The Rescue Vessel Melrose Abbey was on her 2nd voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde on July 2-1942 with Convoy OG 86 - to Gibraltar July 14, returning to Clyde with HG 86 July 21-Aug. 1. ("Convoy Rescue Ships", Arnold Hague).
