CONVOY HG 42
Departed Gibraltar on Aug. 19-1940 and arrived Liverpool on Sept. 3.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" agrees with 17 ships in this convoy, but gives departure date Aug. 20.

* I'm not sure whether the note "not at rendezvous" means the ship did not sail at all, or whether it was no longer present at the time of rendezvous with local escort on Aug. 30. I believe the latter to be the case.
