CONVOY CU 39
Departed New York on Sept. 12-1944 and arrived Liverpool on the 23rd.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 45 ships in this convoy.

Comparing the above to a list of ships received from D. Kindell, based on Arnold Hague's research, I find that A. Hague has not included South Mountain in this convoy.
