A bit off topic.......

Does anybody know what damages "M1" got during a failed infantry landing attempt near Norwegian positions in Dirdal 21/4-40.
What kind of boat is this?
Is it built as a warship or is it a ex-civilian boat?

Pictures of simalar ships?

Any clues would be much appreciated!!

M-1 was a real minesweeper. She was the first ship of the type "Minensuchboot 1935".

About damages on 21.04.1940 i don't have information, but the damages could not be serious, because in May 1940 she captured a few norwegian ships

I thought so, as she was only attacked with machinegun and rifle fire.
The only thing mentioned, is that she had to "withdrawal with losses"
