Hallo alltogether

The french ship Alsina was sunk by aircraft on 13.11.1942 near Bougie. Because of the date of sinking, i think she was involved in the operation Torch. Was she a free french ship and sunk by german/italian aircrafts or was she vichy-french controlled and sunk by allied aircrafts ?

She was raised in 1943. Came she back to duty before the war was over ?
