Arrived rendezvous on Febr. 1.

The Rescue Vessel Hontestroom was with this convoy for a few days. She was on her 2nd voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde with the westbound Convoy OB 279 on Jan. 28-1941, detached Febr. 2, then joined HX 104 that same day, to Clyde Febr. 5 ("Convoy Rescue Ships", Arnold Hague).

BHX 104 - Sailed from Bermuda on Jan. 21-1941
escorted by HMS Alaunia
Note that BHX 104 was the only BHX convoy that did not join up with the corresponding HX convoy, but proceeded directly to the U.K. as a separate convoy.

Transcribed from several documents received from Roger Griffiths (Advance Sailing Telegram) - His source: Public Records Office, Kew.
A 1 forms (showing station numbers) were received from Tony Cooper, England (same source).

Strangely, there are 2 different A 1 forms for the Bermuda convoy (both have the designation BHX 104), with some ships appearing on one but not the other, while some ships appear on both, but a few of them with different station numbers. Stations listed on the 2nd form are given in parenthesis below.

Crossed out ships did not sail, underlined ships returned to port.
