It seems that LANBYA was sold 8.12.1923 to Osaka Zosen KK as YASHIMA MARU (947 GRT), and foundered off Kobe 20.10.1933. Not refloated until 6.1939, then rebuilt and re-commissioned 1940 as MIYAJIMA MARU (owner Tochigi Kisen KK).
May be there were two ships named MIYAJIMA MARU?
Or she was requisitioned in 1942 as KOSEI MARU?
Or Lenton is wrong, and KOSEI MARU was not ex-LANBYA... but ex-HMS LABURNUM (also Flower class sloop, scuttled in S'pore 1942)?
